DRL-W Day 2

Habits. That's what this is; let's see where I'm at after 66 days (European Journal of Social Psychology, 2023). That's the average days for a new behavior to become a habit.

D - drank coffee in bed this morning; had a latte on my way down to the gym to lift, sipping and reading feels so freeing to me, calm, peaceful, productive, sets my mindset for the day positively.

R - read "Connect" about developing deeper relationships; although not all relationships need to be deep. Skimmed through it as I understand the importance of vulnerability, and honesty in relationships and how it builds trust between people.
LOVED the start of "Your Journey To Financial Freedom" by Jamilia Souffrant, can't wait to pick it back up again and also listen to her podcast Journey to Launch! I just made the biggest financial payment of my entire life, & I'm on a journey to pay off my student loan debt in the next 2 years while figuring out how I can save/live and still enjoy life : ) My goal is to make as much money as I can and save as much as I can!

L - lifted the bar this morning, literally; started off with a set of military shoulder press and walked up the wall into some modified rows/pull ups, then picked up the 25 lb plate and got in a couple sets of weighted abs. I've finally been able to pick my feet off the ground and do slow and controlled crunches holding the 25 lb plate, sets of 10! starting to be my favorite morning exercise, and some weighted russian twists!

W - writing as I've been listening to the Goo Goo Dolls lately, which reminds me; I still haven't been to a Red Rocks concert here; but there's time, it's not going anywhere, at this point now my first concert HAS to be epic and nothing less. LifeSum, weighing myself daily, eating less and moving more = results. So many life changes are still happening, this entire year has been full of changes, not small, but BIG life changes, career, states, financial mindset, fitness, health, goals, it's all changed. Honestly I don't recognize the me I was one year ago, which is exciting; there's so much more to look forward to and so many little fun steps along the way. I've changed; my goals, habits, trajectory, and what I want in life. If you're here along for the journey, let's go have fun & thanks for joining!
